The Chinese Temples Committee (the Committee) is a statutory body established in 1928 under the Chinese Temples Ordinance (Chapter 153). Its key responsibilities include administration of 24 temples and promotion of traditional temple culture. It also provides funds to support customary temple ceremonies, repair works to Chinese temples and various charitable community projects.
