China Everbright Bank (hereinafter referred to as “the Bank”), which was established in August 1992 and headquartered in Beijing, is a national joint-stock commercial bank approved by the State Council of China and the People’s Bank of China. The Bank was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in August 2010 (stock code 601818) and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in December 2013 (stock code 6818). At the end of December 2018, the Bank had 1,252 branches and outlets in Chinese mainland and four overseas branches in Hong Kong, Seoul, Luxembourg and Sydney respectively. The Bank was ranked No.39 in the “Top 1,000 World Banks” by The Banker, a U.K. magazine, in 2018, 10 notches up over the previous year.
