About ADM Capital
ADM Capital is a Hong Kong-based alternative asset management firm specialising in secured direct lending to SMEs across Asia-Pacific. Founded in 1998 during the Asian Financial Crisis, ADM Capital initially focused on distressed debt opportunities across the Asia-Pacific region. As the Asian economies rebounded, ADM Capital shifted its focus to financing corporate growth, cross border transactions, acquisitions, and special situations opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises in Asia.
Since 2004, ADM Capital has focused its investment strategy to favor private credit investments with strong ESG credentials across a diverse set of industry verticals and geographies. The firm has developed proprietary sourcing networks, extensive structuring capabilities, and is regarded as a reliable and trusted source of finance in the absence of traditional funding.
Since inception, ADM Capital’s Asia funds have invested in 160 Asian private transactions in 14 countries and 37 industries and achieved 125 exits. AUM dedicated to Asian Private Credit stands at USD1.7Bn with significant amount of dry powder available for new transactions.
In 2022 ADM Capital is working to launch a new Asia Private Credit Fund focused on better production of agricultural commodities and deforestation free supply chains in Indonesia. This falls under the ADM Capital Climate brand and has GHG emissions reduction as a target.

ADMCF was established in 2006 as a non-profit to apply innovative and replicable models of funding to address environmental and social challenges across Asia that emerged with the Asian growth story over the past two decades.
To achieve results, RESEARCH is the first step in our “theory of change”, helping us identify the specific environmental challenge and solution within our key programmatic areas. We then CONVENE partners who COLLABORATE with us to design action plans for change. Where we can’t find the right partner, we INCUBATE initiatives to support our CHANGE objectives. Use of media – both traditional and social – is critical to the EDUCATION component of what we do since any change should be underpinned by public understanding and support.
We see our programmes as fundamentally interrelated as the tangible environmental challenges we face intersect with the biggest of our time: Our climate emergency. Consequently, we work towards “unsiloing” how we approach environmental challenges and promoting a low-carbon economy. There are inherently trade-offs involved in balancing sustainable growth and conservation – and in how to finance the change that needs to happen. We created ADM Capital Climate (“ADMCC”) to generate impact using both finance and philanthropy.
ADM Capital Foundation has been granted tax exempt status under Section 88 of the Hong Kong Government Inland Revenue Ordinance and 501(c) (3) charitable status in the United States.
