Since 1976, The Body Shop has shown the world that business could be a force for good, living and breathing our founder Dame Anita Roddick’s pioneering approach to challenging the beauty industry and toxic ideals of perfection.

We exist to make a positive difference to people’s lives. We started as a small shop in Brighton, providing skin care in refillable bottles, and we’ve continued to proudly offer products with natural origin ingredients that leave your skin feeling enriched and loved. 

We have just short of 3,000 stores in over 70 countries, and employ over 20,000 people. We have exported innovative products, produced defining campaigns about causes that matter and maintained an ethical approach to business all over the globe. We couldn’t have done this without all of the inspirational people involved.
