Founded in 1992, Christian Alliance P.C. Lau International School (CAPCL) was the first international school set up by The Kowloon Tong Church of the Chinese Christian and Missionary Alliance.

The school strives to cultivate a Christ-centered, learners, focused, and others-oriented community in which learning and teaching are relational, rigorous, and relevant.

In 2017, the school's Kowloon City campus closed down for a large scale renovation.  Slated to re-open in August 2020, the enhanced campus will focus on early childhood and primary education, and it is set to carry on the proud Christian ethos that distinguishes the school.
