ECOSPACE Ltd, a 100% Veolia group, operates the Chemical Waste Treatment Facility (CWTF) of Hong Kong under a O&M contract with the Hong Kong SAR government. The CWTF is the only designated facility in Hong Kong to treat hazardous waste and infectious (medical) waste, in operation since 1993.

Furthermore, the CWTF provides emergency response services to assist Government Services in handling chemical spill incidents or other unplanned releases of hazardous materials in Hong Kong. The CWTF operates under ISO 9001 and 14001 certification and stringent regulatory and contractual requirements and conditions.
