Job Requirements:

• Degree holder in Quality / Production Engineering / Manufacturing / Electronics or Industrial Engineering or relevant disciplines;
• 3-5 years relevant working experience in consumer electronic products and IT products. Experience in Electronic Toys trading markets such as EU, USA and Canada preferred;
• Familiar with international safety standards like EMC, LVD, R&TTE, RoHs, FCC, UL, ASTM and EN71 etc.;
• Familiar with production processes and quality standards / implementation;
• Strong quality analytical skills;
• Good interpersonal and communication skills in working with China factories, overseas customers and internal colleagues;
• Able to work independently under pressure and can accept multiple tasks simultaneously;
• Travel to mainland factories is necessary but not frequent;
• Strong spoken and written English especially English report writing skills; and
• Proficient in spoken Mandarin.
  
  

Job Duties:

• Carry out effective QA engineering function to maintain planned quality objectives;
• Liaise with internal colleagues from all departments, factories and customers to ensure legal compliance and customer satisfaction;
• Liaise with third party laboratories for safety testing standards;
• Formulate product safety and reliability testing plan and train QA technicians and QC inspectors;
• Conduct detailed analysis of design, improvement, quality defects, and corrective actions to improve product quality and performance;
• Prepare Process Control Plan and review factory implementation, work with factories on technical solutions and troubleshooting analysis to improve performance and reliability of products;
• Ensure update of quality engineering work instructions in accordance with the latest customer requirements and technical changes;
• Conduct and coordinate sample testing / checking at both in-house and external testing facilities; and
• Perform Failure Analysis with Engineer and coordinate return/complaint resolution with After Sales Services.
