Information Systems Section

The appointee will assist in the development of Administrative Information Systems of the University, from the gathering of system requirements, updating documentation to providing user support and training when the system is rolled out.

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computing Science or a relevant discipline, and have at least two years of post-qualification experience in web-based and client/server application development.  They should have practical experience in relational database and development tools (such as Sybase and Powerbuilder), application servers (such as WebLogic, Websphere) and be well-versed in web application programming techniques such as PHP, JAVA, etc.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of up to two years. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
