Nakama has partnered with a Global Insurance company based in Kowloon to play a pivotal role within their Project Management team. With a strong presence across multiple lines of Insurance, as part of the Business Transformation team, you as the Project Manager will be engaged in a variety of projects varying from large scale right through to minor automation projects.

Reporting into the Senior Project Manager, you as the Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end management of projects in accordance with the firms project governance, competencies and change management frameworks. Your key duties and responsibilities will include though not limited to;

•  Define project scope and business case development (scope, objectives, constraints, assumptions, benefits, quality criteria, issues and risks)
• Develop and manage a detailed project plan, to support the activity, resources and project interdependencies
• End to end responsibility for coordinating business, marketing, HR, finance, legal/compliance and IT resources to achieve project outcomes
• Ensure the integration of all business components and functions to enable operational/ business readiness on delivery of the solution
• Control, manage & report issues, risks, dependencies and changes in scope
• Prepare project budget & stage gate approvals
• Track & report project financials and the realization of defined benefits

 You as an experienced Project Manager will ideally have proven experience coming from the Insurance or broader financial services industry. You will possess the following skills and attributes;

• Proven Project Management or PMO experience working in Financial Services… Ideally from the insurance industry.
• Strong communication skills in English. Mandarin and/or Cantonese will be ideal though not essential.
• Experience in delivering on Digital Projects.
• Proven experience in project costing, budgeting and resource allocation.
• Experience in working in an AGILE environment (SCRUM).
• Ideally have had past experience working in a Business Analyst role prior to moving into Project Management.
