Job Description

Summary of the role:

  • Establish and maintain successful relationships with key stakeholders and business leads on key clients in Hong Kong and across the region as required
  • Support team leads in the gathering, monitor and analysis of performance data and ongoing strategy
  • Prepare and present regular, relevant, business cases on new products and opportunities
  • Work with team leaders to construct robust forecasting and opportunity reports with detailed recommendations for clients
  • Manage, Monitor, Execute, and optimize all performance based campaigns including but not limited to SEO, Paid Search, Paid Social, YouTube, Programmatics, etc.
  • Be an evangelist and demonstrate thought leadership within Omnicom and in the industry
  • Identify new arenas within the search and performance landscape (eg. social PPC, online programmatic buying, search retargeting) and support Omnicom’s expansion into these areas
  • Develop best practice on search / performance marketing across display, RTB, social and mobile platforms and promote sharing across teams and to the group

  

Key responsibilities:

Accounts/Clients:

  • Core contributor to strategic initiatives
  • Act as the senior contact for key clients
  • Work closely with clients, OMD/PHD HK planning and digital teams to determine business needs and identify areas of opportunity to increase account growth and revenue
  • Transmit to clients the benefits of search engine marketing and help them integrate SEM/SEO/SMO into their overall online marketing strategy
  • Ensure all Annalect products and services are positioned and introduced to business teams.
  • Inform and educate clients with new industry trends and developments
  • Regularly research, prepare and write point of view papers for distribution to clients.

Process/Strategy:

  • Be our biddable media platform planning & activation expert (eg YouTube, Adwords)
  • Manage the platforms team (managers and executives)
  • Improve the current workflow & optimization processes across accounts
  • Work as both a leader and hands-on expert across accounts to assist junior team members with delivering results for clients.
  • Improve, manage and maintain the budget tracking process
  • Establish best in class standards and quality of work across accounts
  • Champion new search tools, settings & technologies across accounts and help activate any existing ones that are not in place.

  • Establish and reinforce current company processes
  • Manage and grow core vendor relationships (e.g. Google, Kenshoo etc.)
  • Promote/sell media department capabilities across teams and to the group

You will bring the following skills and expertise to our teams:

  • Experience of working in Asian markets in the Search Marketing industry
  • Numbers of experience will depend on the position applied. Less experienced candidate may consider to apply for Excutive / Strategist role
  • Account and client leadership
  • Team management (mentorship, performance reviews, feedback, training)
  • Experience in emerging PPC (eg Facebook, Twitter) and mobile search are preferred
  • Core contributor to strategic agency initiatives
  • Inform and educate clients on industry trends and best practice
  • Experience in bid management and process automation through Kenshoo and Marin
