Job Summary:

This role is to manage the sales team in formulating and executing marketing strategies to achieve the production and underwriting results.

The Job:

• Work closely with the Head of Sales & Marketing and sales team in formulating and executing marketing strategies
• Lead and supervise the local agent/broker’s sales team in achieving the production and underwriting result
• Provide marketing service and support to designated business accounts particularly in the local agents and brokers market
• Recruit and develop new potential accounts
• Participate in product development with focus on advice from the underwriting perspective

The Person:

• University graduate or equivalent with minimum 10 years of underwriting experience on general insurance of which 5 years or more at managerial level
• Possess qualification of ANZIIF or ACII
• Sound underwriting knowledge in General Insurance notably on Commercial Lines
• Strong connection in the local agents and brokers market
• Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Candidate with less experience will be considered for the position of Manager
