Job Duties

• To audit factories producing client's private label merchandise against the client
• Management Corporation Code of Conduct Policy and applicable labor and employment laws.
• Work with USA Compliance Team and vendor and factory managers to develop corrective action plans for factories that are determined to be non-compliant.
• Coaches the new auditors on board. 
• Internal and external auditors calibration.
• Assist management to quality control (QC) on audit works and provide guidance from time to time.
• Perform observation on 3rd party audits in assigned regions.
• Schedule and hold trainings to internal and external auditors in assigned regions.
• Review CAPs of normal audits by 3rd party audit firms.
• Review WRIP Plans and monthly WRIP documents in assigned regions.
• Help to review audit reports of senior auditors and auditors.
• Schedule and hold compliance and/ or WRIP meetings, seminars, trainings with vendors and factories.
• Perform factory audits (including any surveillance visits whereas necessary) and factory visits in assigned regions.
• Gather and update local laws and regulations (including local legal minimum wages of different cities), and any local issues or hot topics related to compliance and/or vendors and factories.
• Update audit documents.
• Take up special and/ or ad hoc assignments, projects as per instructions from management.

Job Requirements

• High Diploma / Degree Holder
• 5 years related experience, familiar in USA market is preferable
• Basic knowledge of local labor laws and regulations
• Detail-oriented, with common sense, and strong organizational skills; be able to make sound judgment under conflicting situations
• Initiative and practical approach to help factories to solve labor compliance issues; possess balanced sense of urgency
• Mature, high degree of integrity, strong communicator and proficient in written and verbal English (in some countries, auditor is also required to be proficient in local language(s) of workers, for example, in China, proficient in written Simplified Chinese and spoken Mandarin is a must)
• Be open-minded to learn, acquire and apply new knowledge, skill, technique and method as directed by management
• Willing to travel extensively and independently
