The role of the Logistics Coordinator is to support all aspects of inbound and outbound operations across the Asia-Pacific region, ensuring that shipments to New Era’s distribution centres and to customers are shipped and delivered on-time to consistently meet customer expectations. The Logistics Coordinator reports to the Assistant Logistics Manager.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with vendors and forwarding partners to coordinate bookings
• Monitor inbound shipments to ensure on-time departure and arrival
• Communicate with 3PL warehouses in Hong Kong, Australia, Korea and China to plan and schedule inbound orders
• Prepare shipping documents for international movements, with particular attention to detail
• Track drop ship orders and post deliveries in SAP
• Act as liaison between customer services teams and 3PL warehouse teams in Hong Kong, Australia, Korea and China
• Monitor open sales orders to ensure on-time shipping
• Document and communicate customer-specific VAS requirements
• Research and resolve queries relating to shipping, deliveries and inventory
• Log, communicate and report vendor chargebacks
• Report on system data accuracy and collaborate with production dept. to correct errors and maintain clean data
• Create and maintain reports for internal and external use
• Review and approve transportation invoices
• Apply business rules to determine most cost effective routing and modes of transport
• Analyse shipment costs
• Support company projects and initiatives as required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant industry experience require
• Must be willing to travel internationally
• Autonomous, able to work unsupervised and take initiative
• Enthusiastic positive person with can-do attitude
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Demonstrates high level of numeracy, and confidence around manipulating data
• Strong customer service focus with the ability to multitask
• Strong MS Excel skills
• Knowledge / experience in logistics
• SAP experience a plus
