One of the world’s most recognizable Luxury Retail brands seeks a Women’s RTW Merchandising Manager to join their expanding team.  Your role will be to drive sales performance and business of Woman’s RTW across the APAC market region including SE Asia.

 Primary Responsibilities

• Own partner relationships from start to finish, planning, buying and trading.
• Working collaboratively with partners to maximise the profitability of the business.
• To deliver a credible balanced range to working with the partner budgets, phasing and product mix.
• To work alongside the Range Planner by running and developing the department, focusing all activity on meeting customer needs and achieving bottom line results.
• To deliver with the Range Planner a credible and balanced range and integrate previous season's experience into the new department strategy.
• To manage profit performance through limiting risk, increasing profit and managing departmental sales performance.
  
  

 Requirements

• Experience of building partner accounts through working collaboratively.
• Understanding of the challenges of launching a new wholesale partner, building and maintaining a strong relationship.
• A proven track record in the role of a Wholesale Merchandiser.
• Good problem solving skills - can overcome issues, propose solutions and make commercial decision.
• Works with others and influence and communicate effectively at all levels.
• Commercially aware with a strong understanding of the partners
• Prepare pre-buy and post-buy analysis, such as OTB vs actual reports, seasonal comparison, style matrix and SKU reports
• Analyse merchandise performance to identify best sellers and slow movers for further action on consolidation and reorder
• Manage inventory level to ensure stores achieving their sales targets
• Arrange picking and daily transfer to ensure enough inventory for each store throughout the season
• Arrange monthly consolidation or on as needed basis according to the sales performance of individual store
• Prepare seasonal markdown list; Update carry-forward item list
• Conduct feedback reports seasonally in all stores
• Routinely Travel and Visit all stores and markets to better understand store differentiation, client needs, market trends, and competitors
• Prepare competitors reports with information on their trends, pricing and promotions
• Assist in preparation of seasonal product training for stores
• Coordinate event with various departments
• Cooperate with other Departments (VM, Logistics, PR, etc) for regular issues
• Excellent communication skills in English is mandatory.
