Responsibilities:

• Drive and manage entire production development and delivery process, handles all pre-production development tracking, Fabric and trims order co-ordination, Proto sample, size set samples, Salesman sample, KAT,  PP samples, TOP sample submission and assist in production follow up.
• Ensure Product- and Quality-standards are met, Review and Report to the direct report if any potential issues would affect the company interests.
• Familiar with and solid experience in functional sportswear and handling woven, knits and water-repellent items.  
• Sound good technical knowledge in synthetic fabrics finishing and its characteristics and garment techniques (eg. Bonding, seam seal, lamination, high density transfer, sublimations, etc…)      
• Review garment fabric & color combinations, call out and discuss with Sourcing Manager/BGO teams if any potential issues which might have quality issues in production.
• Work Hand in Hand with Corporate Sourcing/PD/Merchandising teams and QA department and voice out potential issues for development in an early stage and before order placement.  Alternatives and suggestions need to provide.
• Familiar with CPSC and PRO65 regulations
• Meet, Follow up and visit any vendors / suppliers when necessary.
• Coach vendors and suppliers to meet the company requirement and USA regulations.
• Update all regular tracking records in detailed and check reports with clear details to share with teams and/or ad hoc reports in pre-development, development and production stages.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years working experience in related discipline with merchandising background and strong understanding and knowledge of Sportswear / Licensed / Outwear products.
• Understand licensed & functional sportswear production nature and characteristics. Good technical knowledge is required and exposure on technical garments would be a bonus.
• Strong and excellent knowledge of production development as well as proficiency in reciprocal in functional fabrics /styling/design lines in a garment
• Strong sense of responsibility, self-motivated, good team player as well as being flexible and having a logical thinking.
• Ability to work independently and well-organized as well as open minded
• Proficient PC skills and good command of English and Chinese
