Job Description:

• Provide supervisory oversight on operational risk governance, policies and reporting to ensure consistent application across all units of the company and compliance with Hong Kong and PRC regulatory requirements;
• Communicate with various regulatory authorities including China Securities Regulatory Commission (“CSRC”) of PRC, Securities & Futures Commission (“SFC”) of Hong Kong and other regulatory authorities in both PRC and Hong Kong;
• Partner with senior stakeholders in implementing/maintaining the operational risk policies and tools including risk and control self-assessment and new product approval and outsourcing policies;
• Assess key operational risk issues at the strategic level and provide timely risk analyses and reporting to senior management and board;
• Promote risk and control awareness through comprehensive training programmes, sharing of best practices and lessons learnt;

Job Requirement:

• Degree holder in Risk Management, Business Management or related disciplines. Postgraduate or related professional qualifications are advantageous;
• 10+ years relevant experience in the risk management, compliance and regulatory authorities, working experience in securities regulatory authorities is a must;
• Strong interpersonal communicator with an in-depth analytical and critical thinking mindset;Strong knowledge of anti-money laundering regulations and regulatory authorities;
• Experience in suspicious activity investigation, and familiar with transaction monitoring solutions;
• Confident in communication both internally in different units or externally with regulatory authorities and agencies;

•  Spoken and written in English and Chinese (including Putonghua) is essential.
