Responsibilities:

• Perform physical & chemical tests on raw materials, intermediates, finished products, stability samples and validation samples;
• Perform calibration, validation and maintenance of lab instrumentation;
• Carry out test method development & method validation for proprietary Chinese medicine and health supplement products;
• Liaise with internal departments and external testing laboratories to arrange sampling & testing activities and monitor the testing status;
• Maintain documentation system in compliance with GMP requirements; &
• Provide support to other ad hoc projects.

Requirements:

• Higher diploma or above in Chemistry, Biological Science, Food Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences or other related disciplines (Candidate with knowledge in Chinese medicine would be an advantage);
• 3-4 years working experience in commercial testing laboratory or pharmaceutical QC laboratory is preferred (Previous experience in test method development and method validation would be an advantage);
• Proficient in operation of laboratory analytical equipments such as TLC, HPLC/UPLC, UV-VIS, GC, etc.;
• Knowledge in GMP and ISO 17025 is preferred;
• Hardworking, responsible, self-motivated and attentive to details;
• Enthusiastic at laboratory work with good analytical and problem solving skills;
• Candidates with less relevant experience will be considered as QC Technician.
