Job Duties:

• Translate, update, review and proofread IPO prospectuses, financial reports, announcements and circulars of HKEx-listed companies and other documents from English to Chinese and vice versa;
• Coordinate workflow of translation projects and cooperate with fellow team members;
• Proactively communicate with team members and external parties regarding all work-related issues;
• Such other relevant duties as assigned;
• Shift duty is required, as an industry practice.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree, preferably in Translation;
• Good grades in English in public exams, especially in reading and writing (Please state your grades and sub-grades scored in English in HKCEE/ HKALE/ HKDSE/ IELTS);
• “Can do” attitude, willing to work beyond normal hours at short notice (with OT payment) to accommodate clients’ urgent requests;
• Quick learner, problem solver, punctual, neat and organised;
• Honesty and sense of urgency;
• Attention to details and able to produce accurate translation under tight deadlines;
• Can work under minimal supervision;
• Proven track record required for the post of Senior Translators;
• Fresh graduates will also be considered;
• Experience with financial printers and financial translation houses will be an advantage.
