Our client, a global media company, is looking for a dynamic Editor/Managing Editor to join their expanding team.

As the Editor/Managing Editor you will:

• Write and edit journalistic content in both traditional and digital for the APAC region
• Assist with the addition of digital
• Be in charge of editorial planning, commissioning, copywriting and sub-editing
• Manage contributors, freelancers and in-house content team
• Liaise with clients and agency partners as well as manage the projects
• Ensure deadlines are met by monitoring workflow and creating an efficient schedule
• Manage budgets

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following skills and experience:

• At least 10 years of experience as a journalistic editor
• Solid experience with traditional and digital media
• Strong market knowledge of the APAC region
• Exceptional English language skills
• Experience leading and managing a team
