Job Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and effective management to the QA teams in the Apparel businesses.
• Factory sign off for Quality Management Systems and Product Safety Systems for Far East Region
• Manage QMS and Product Safety due diligence audits in our supply base
• Manage, communicate and assist in various compliance programs and surveys, including Brand Protection, Social Responsibility Compliance and C-TPAT/GSV Program as well as Conflict Minerals Survey, SAC/HIGG Survey and etc.
• Upgrade Supplier Quality KPIs – QMS score, bulk RTM, customer RTM, unplanned reprocess and AQL pass rate – monitor progress on improvements & data base maintenance
• New Supplier Induction and system training for suppliers
• Collaborate with Garment/ Product/ Fabric technologists and merchandising team in SO in managing production to achieve to Buyer requirements
•  Direct and oversee the Quality Assurance Function: inspections, factory technical audits, product development reviews, client visit support, quality/claim investigations.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure to accommodate the growth objectives of our organization.
• Develops and maintains working relationships both with internal departments and with external clients and vendors.
• Support Corporate QA Directors in implementing Client’s quality procedures in order to meet client’s quality requirement.
• Develop, implement and manage a system of metrics to measure and report the performance and effectiveness of both the Quality and Ethical organization.
• Conducts announced factory visits for both quality and ethics investigations.
• Liaise with different non-government organization, such as ILO/BW, FLA, BSI and etc.
• Conduct and deliver training, auditing, corrective action plans and remediation programs at factories and sub-contractors
• Lead and manage the internal compliance teams of Asia Pacific

 Job Requirements               

• At least 8 years’ working experience in a related field for the USA/ European market, preferably in all categories
• With extensive factory audits experience, expertise in production management, including ppm, pilot run review/ inline inspection.
• Diploma or above in textile / Clothing
• Must have great management skills with minimum of 8 years in managerial level.
• Results orientated with a strong operational background.
• Experience leading a team of people.
• Good understanding of China manufacturing;
• Good command of written & spoken English, knowledge in Mandarin is an advantage
• Capable to drive changes with strong management and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills
• Well organized and independent to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Must be an energetic and enthusiastic team player
• An audit qualification (ISO 9000 / SA8000 / ISO 14000) would be a definite advantage
