Role Title:

Sales Manager

Entity Due Diligence & Monitoring Solutions

(1 for China, 1 for Hong Kong)

 

Main Purpose of the role

  • Develop new business for LexisNexis Entity Due Diligence and Monitoring solutions across China/ Hong Kong
  • Sales team leadership

 

Key Result Areas:

  •  Identify new opportunities through own research and prospecting methods e.g. cold calling, networking.
  • Formulating a strategy for existing accounts, by which new 3rd party due diligence revenue opportunities are maximized and profitable business, is won.
  • Develop new contacts within existing or new business accounts either as decision makers or influencers.
  • Support all RFI and RFP requests with both a technical and hands on approach
  • Coach and mentor the China/Hong Kong Sales force to enable them to identify and qualify leads within existing accounts and new business opportunities
  • Work with Marketing to create and champion marketing campaigns for Entity Due Diligence & Monitoring solutions across Hong Kong
  • Effectively working alongside other stakeholder departments to ensure market and customer needs are being met
  • Keep up to date with market changes and developments, new products and the competition.

 

Functional Knowledge Requirements:

  • Full knowledge of strategic account selling and servicing and performance-driven sales management
  • Possesses and applies sound understanding of principles and concepts in own specialist area often with professional accreditation and tertiary qualification.
  • Demonstrate complete knowledge of the features, advantages and benefits of all Entity Due Diligence & Monitoring solutions, and be able to demonstrate them fully.
  • Understand the challenges of 3rd party due diligence professionals across the various customer segments.

 

Experience & Skills Requirements:

  •          Specific experience and skills include:

o   Proven track record of working successfully in a challenging and commercially driven B2B sales environment

o   Will have at least 7 years’ experience in a new business sales role, preferably in legal industry

o   Coaching and mentoring

o   Strong negotiation skills

o   Demonstrable experience of building and maintaining excellent client relationships and internal relationships

o   Able to work with international teams

o   Fluent in English, Mandarin/Cantonese
