Job descriptions  

• Handle enquiries from public and media;
• Monitor the media daily and identify issues of interest to the LegCo office;
• Interact and liaise with government officials, political parties, members of business community, media and social groups;
• Identify and manage different channels of dissemination for research findings and messages;
• Coordinate meetings and arrange the schedule of the LegCo Member;
• Provide administrative support to the LegCo Member and ensure smooth running of the legislative office;
• Assist in preparing the correspondence, press releases and publicity materials;
• Assist in dealing with policy matters and conducting research.

Job requirements  

• Degree in journalism, public administration, business, political science or related disciplines;
• 2 years of working experience in related areas;
• Knowledge and interest in public policies and current affairs, in particular the economic and trade issues;
• Good command of Chinese and English;
• Strong communications and interpersonal skills;
• Prior experience in the areas of media industry, public policy or with NGOs/ the Government is advantageous;
• Willing to work overtime and weekends.
