Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the daily operations including clients’ accounts, A/R, billing, WIP monitoring 
• Oversee the financial and client reporting to meet deadlines 
• Assist in submitting clients’ tenders and fee proposal
• Monitor the ageing of accounts receivable and work in progress 
• Coordinate with regional offices for reporting to the global team 
• Lead the preparation of annual budget and quarterly forecasts working along with other function heads and colleagues of regional offices
• Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors on statutory audit and tax filing 
• Manage and develop the finance team members 
• Ensure good internal control is implemented and maintained in accordance with the Firm’s policy and all relevant rules and regulations 
• Participate in global initiative projects and new system implementation 
• Projects and tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Degree or above, holder of professional accounting qualifications (e.g. HKICPA or equivalent) 
• 10+ years of post qualification experience in finance and accounting, managerial experience in sizeable organizations preferred, legal industry related experience/knowledge is an advantage 
• Sound leadership and business acumen, self-motivated, strategic thinking and attention to details 
• Team player with good analytical, communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills 
• Proficiency with popular Windows-based computer programs. Hands-on experience in using accounting software and financial application is an advantage 
• Strong command of spoken and written English and Chinese, proficiency in Mandarin
