Responsibilities:

  • Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope
  • Create and review deliverables prepared by team before passing to client - with content expertise in some/all of the following:
    • Business Transformation
    • Insurance –specific distribution transformation (including channel strategy and transformation, customer strategy/journeys, customer and agent analytics)Drive strategy definition and organizational blueprinting and shape a roadmap for helping the client mobilize and deliver subsequent changes
    • Effectively apply Accenture’s offerings and assets and enforce project standards
    • Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures
    • Minimize Accenture/client exposure and risk on project
    • Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
    • Manage day-to-day client interaction
    • Help to set and manage client expectations
    • Develop lasting relationships with client personnel that foster client ties
    • Support the client teams in business development and sales efforts
    • Support the client teams in forming differentiating points of view on the key industry trends and drivers
    • Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions
    • Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships
    • Build a knowledge base of each client's business, organization and objectives

 

Requirements:

  • Ideally, a Master of Business Administration or the equivalent graduate degree
  • Minimum of 5 years business /operational strategy, enterprise transformation, and solid experience in addressing distribution issues in Insurance
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience at a consulting firm or equivalent in an internal consulting role
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Insurance industry (either P&C or Life)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience serving as the strategic architect for large transformational programs on Insurance engagements
  • Experience delivering distribution-focused transformation programs to Insurance C-suite and business unit leaders and translating the resulting recommendations into a successful 'Phase 2' design and execution program
  • Active roles in proposal/business development activities
  • Solid people development and practice development skills
  • Experience in working in a supervisory position on a minimum of five enterprise transformation and distribution-specific engagements
  • Solid Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Project) skills
  • Knowledge of standard project management requirements
  • Prior consulting experience
  • Lead roles in knowledge capital development
  • Lead roles in business development activities
  • Proven track record in client relationship development
  • Demonstrated leadership in professional setting
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting

  • Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage and motivate team members and reports in an effective manner
