Network Project Engineer (Global Infrastructure Services) – CCIE preferred

We are looking to hire Network Project Engineer to support Data Network, Voice, Video and Cabling Services to join our Hong Kong office. 

Job Summary:

• Network Project Engineer on Project delivery and Change executions
• Hardware support, deployment and re-deployment would be required
• Solution design and consultant on new requests received for APAC
• Engage in regular standardisation and design risk remediation exercise
• New Technology adoption and drive new solutions and initiatives that fit the business needs
• Ensure solutions are compliant to Global Architecture and Engineering standards
• Ensure solutions adhered to Global Risk & Security standards
• Ensure Change delivery are compliant to Change and Governance process
• Liaison with various carriers and solution vendors

The Person:

• Possess CCNP qualification, preferably CCIE
• Degree in IT or above academic qualification
• Network design drawings and professional documentations
• ITIL Foundation or above
• Solid experience on Cisco Routing & Switching, LAN/WAN design, Carrier MAN DWDM technology
• Experience on Data Center relocation project is an advantage
• Strong expertise on IP addressing design, NAT strategy and solution, on multi-entity enterprise network environments
• Design and support experience on Market Data Connectivity, TSE, OSE, FIX, ECN, 3^rd Party connectivity
• Solid background on enterprise solution design
• Experience on common trading network solution, e.g. BT Radianz, TNS
• Familiarize with Change and Design governance process in FSI environment
• Prefer to have some knowledge on Firewall Security Products (e.g. Checkpoint, Fortinet, Juniper, F5), load-balancer product knowledge (e.g. support skillsets in Cisco, Citrix), structured cabling, datacenter design, and M&E infrastructure would be an edge
• Prefer to have work experience on Financial Services sector or Carrier or global enterprise network support / solutions consultancy
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Good team player regionally who needs to work for remote locations if required
• Good presentation skills with strong impact and presence skills
• Fluent in English, Cantonese & Mandarin a plus
