The Manufacturing Excellence team will enable Target Supply Chain strategies by partnering with vendors/ factories to unlock and elevate their capabilities to deliver measurable benefits to Target. The Manufacturing Excellence Director will create and execute the factory elevation program across multiple Target categories within Apparel / Accessories / Home and Hardline. This role will report to Senior Managing Director, Hong Kong Product Safety and Quality Assurance and will build and lead a team of technical experts who identify and drive quality and production improvement projects across multiple countries.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures Target® Manufacturing Excellence Strategy and Resources in place to drive vendor /factory process improvements for cost and quality
• Define and Identify the Manufacturing Excellence opportunity within the Target ® Supply Chain
• Lead Target® vendor/factory process improvement initiatives
• Identify, Create, Monitor and Communicate Target® Manufacturing Excellence metrics
• Build and Develop the Manufacturing Excellence Team

Requirements:

• 10+ years of relevant experience executing large scale process improvement, quality management, systems implementation
• Technical Depth in one of the Relevant Product Categories
• Formal Training in Engineering
• LEAN and/or SIX SIGMA Certification and experience
• Experience of working in a similar role in Quality/Production/Management in a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated success in formulating and driving supply chain initiatives across organizations and countries
• Demonstrated success managing multi-national teams and business partnerships both internally and externally
