Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead/facilitate efforts to sustainably eliminate waste through process redesign, automation.
  • Be able to work with senior leadership to choose and prioritize projects to align with strategic goals.
  • Maintain and improve operations of existing CL clients by executing what the company had promised to customers.
  • Improve Customer Felt Performance Levels. Ensuring the Voice of Customer and the Voice of Process become an integrated part of the way we work.
  • Drive warehouse performance to achieve cost targets, develop action plans to improve productivities.
  • Warehouse cost control/improvement. Prioritize and sequence initiatives to deliver near term quick wins, with long term planning while managing constraints.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement. Establish an improvement culture and mindset by initiating and driving process improvement projects and practices in each functional area.
  • Adept at mentoring coaching and training and must have strong warehouse and supply chain experience.
  • Ensure all operations are working to the appropriate best standards in terms of safety and security.
  • Manage warehouse operation KPI to achieve efficient and profitable outcome.
  • Embed quality measures, and building a metric and KPI framework.
  • Ensure continuous improvement on logistics operating practices and procedures, communicate with Business Units to standardize and streamline the operations.
  • Ensuring an environment of continuous improvements by launching projects and becoming the key process owner for performance and productivity.

Requirements:  

  • Strong drive; good project management; very good presentation skill.
  • Certified Lean Six Sigma black belt preferred. All candidates must have at least 5 years of delivering projects in warehousing or manufacturing setting.
  • Adept at mentoring, coaching and training and must have strong warehouse and supply chain experience.
  • Mature and able to work independently and under pressure, strong communication skills, capable of communicating with people at all levels.
  • Good analytical, market-evaluation and business-planning skills.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • Proficient in MS Office including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint or other ERP system.
