This position provides support to the Senior FP&A Manager; he/she will lead a small GL team to carry out general accounting, accounts payable, banking, statutory and tax reporting duties for Hong Kong & Asia countries.  He/She will also be responsible for internal controls, policy compliance and FP&A functions. The successful candidate will demonstrate good accounting and finance knowledge, sound business acumen, strong leadership, and display all rounded interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Primary job functions and responsibilities of the position include:

• General Ledger & Accounts Payable
• Approve petty cash payments
• Review journal vouchers and supporting documents
• Review correctness on rebates and commission calculations
• Ensure proper and sufficient accruals are made
• Review balance sheet schedules

 Banking/Cashflow

• Monitor cashflow positions
• Arrange fund transfers
• Liaise with banks for any bank facilities

 FP&A Functions

• Prepare financial and management reports to Corporate / local management
• Provide comprehensive financial and variance analysis to local management
• Assist in preparing monthly forecast and budgeting process

 Statutory Reporting and Compliance

• Liaise with external auditors for interim and year end audits
• Liaise with Company Secretary for preparing any statutory filings to Company Registry or preparing board resolutions according to any statutory or internal requirements

 Tax Compliance & Reporting

• Review tax provisions
• Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants for tax compliance
• Prepare tax reports to meet Corporate requirements

 Internal Controls

• Ensure policy compliance, and perform checking on internal controls
• Identify improvement opportunities in operations and drive implementation of effective procedures, controls and systems

 Others

• Provide ad hoc reporting as necessary to support division activities.
• Provide direct hand on assistance

Requirements

• The position requires a Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or business administration.
• The incumbent should be a qualified accountant with 4-5 years relevant experience.
• The incumbent should have well developed organization skills and a high degree of administrative proficiency. Good PC skills are added advantage.
• He/ She should be able to work under pressure.
• He/ She should speak fluent Cantonese and English.
