• Acting deputy to the Head of HK Trade Support.  Represent the team at forums and committees as required by the Head of HK Trade Support
• Responsible for Trade Support control framework, ensuring our internal control policies are updated regularly and adhered to at all times
• Represent the team participating in new business initiatives, defining new operating models, building out related technology requirements & process maps/procedures
• Represent the team on all regulatory related matters, working in close partnership with control functions and technology to design and implement automated reporting solutions
• Manage alignment initiatives across the region and globally, working in close partnership with operations groups, technology and control functions
• Help foster a culture of continuous improvement across the team by identifying ongoing opportunities to improve training, efficiency, scale & reduce operational risk

Qualifications

• 7+ years relevant working experience within the financial services industry
• Experience of managing/leading a similar function preferable, yet not essential
• Strong knowledge of the end-to-end Equity & Fixed Income transaction workflow
• Strong knowledge of Asia cash equities gained from previous experience
• Intermediate knowledge of fixed income and currency markets
• Experience of managing or participating in related projects
• Experience working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
• Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities, timelines, and demands
• Strong written and verbal communication skills essential
• Ability to network with internal stakeholder community to foster relationships across locations
• Possess strong analytical skills, with great attention to details and ability to make sound judgment
• Fluency in English & Mandarin (oral & written)  highly preferred
