Job Duties

• Reporting to the group's Chief Investment Officer (CIO), this position provide research and analysis support to and work closely with in-house wealth managers on investment strategies, based on clients’ needs and objectives
• Prepare market commentaries in regular and in ad-hoc basis, based on the market situation
• Provide market research reports to clients and in-house financial advisers
• Construct model portfolio as reference material for wealth managers
• Responsible for in-house market update and seminar materials
• Perform due diligence on financial product providers and their products
• Involve in the risk management team of the company
• Assistance to Wealth Managers during portfolio review meeting with client on need basis

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Statistics, Economics or related
• Holder of SFC license, holder of CFA is an advantage
• With at least 2-3 years working experience in the finance industry, it is a plus if the working experience is gained from the Independent Financial Advisory (IFA) industry
• Sound knowledge with proven track record in the financial industry
• Independent, self-motivated, willing to work hard, highly numerate, strong analytical skills required
• Proficient in English, Cantonese and fluent in Putonghua is a advantage
• Strong in unit trust/mutual funds
• Knowledge in using research tools & system (e.g. Financial Express, Morning Star, MetaStock)
