Job Description

Currently looking for an experienced Business Development Executive for a vacancy in the vibrant city of Beijing. A leading Relocation company in the area is currently expanding their department and requires an experienced professional with knowledge and experience in Sales & Business Development.

 The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, targeting SME and Global organizations as well as the Direct Consumer market. The role requires a focus on identifying new sales opportunities and delivering on the sales target agreed upon. The position is mainly Beijing focused but travel may be required depending on opportunities in the domestic market within North China.  

 Skills & Experience required:

  • Strong sales background with ideally a minimum of 5 years sales experience in a large global business. Ideally this will be focused on selling services based solutions.
  • Specific experience selling solutions to HR and Procurement functions and engaging at very senior level.
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. You should have achieved annual revenue targets of at least 5m RMB
  • Proven experience in building robust pipelines and accurate forecasting.
  • Strong presentation and written skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communicative skills
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders (HR, Procurement, Finance, Rewards, Talent…)
  • Experience in selling complex supply chain solutions would be a plus.
  • University degree or above
  • Strong MS Office and SFDC experience is necessary

Travel would be expected in this role (approx. 5% of the time)

Key responsibilities in the role are:

New Business        

  • Identify and follow leads to increase customer base
  • Create new revenue for relocation and mobility services and have a sound working knowledge of the mobility process
  • Deliver consultative advice, best practice and industry updates to your clients
  • Be a subject matter expert and be able to promote moving, relocation and immigration services to prospective clients
  • Provide effective sales presentations and accurate documentation for global assignment management mobility, HR and procurement executive level
  • Set progressive targets and budgets that reflect sustainable growth year on year.
  • Meet / exceed agreed revenue targets
  • Meet / exceed agreed new appointment targets
  • Effective diary management of sales appointments
  • Manage own marketing programme to support personal revenue targets
  • Attend client events in Beijing in accordance with guidelines set by the management

Reporting & Communication

  • Update data on SalesForce.com to provide accurate reporting in a timely manner
  • Supply China Business Development Manager with sales target / sales pipeline data for weekly meetings, sales calls and RFIs
  • Communicate effectively with team members / department managers, providing support to achieve company targets
  • Ensure flow of information internally to rest of business
