Job Summary:

This position is responsible for supporting the development of Pernod Ricard’s CSR action in Asia, stakeholder engagement strategy development and regulatory monitoring analysis in selected Asian markets.

Job Title: CSR Intern (Full-time, Monday - Friday)

Starting Date/Duration: Sep 2016 / 6 Months

Department/Division: Legal & Public Affairs, PR Asia                             

Report to:  Assistant Manager

Responsibilities:

1) Support the development of Pernod Ricard’s Corporate Social Responsibility Actions in Asia

• Assist in the implementation of Pernod Ricard Asia wide CSR initiatives
• Where needed work with the Assistant Manager to support Business Units in country-specific projects
• Monitor the development of industry CSR initiatives
• Support of key CSR projects and reporting/presentation including the carbon footprint and charity factory

2) Internal and External communication on CSR

• Work with the Assistant Manager to reinforce the internal CSR network throughout Asia – develop communications to inform and engage employees
• Support external communication on CSR (e.g. writing of press releases, common speaking guidelines, etc) – for Asia and individual Business Units.
• Engage in third party organizations (e.g. CSR networks, NGOs) to identify possibilities for cooperation or visibility for CSR actions

3) Research and Analysis on CSR issues

• Undertake research and create briefings on scientific aspects of relevant alcoholic CSR issues (e.g. consumption levels, trends, etc)
• Assess CSR initiatives to ensure compliance with the 5 CEO commitments

4) Support the Public Affairs and work on special projects

• Support the development and alcohol policy strategies in selected markets
• Monitor and analyze the regulatory environment in Asia

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Communications, Social Science or other relevant fields
• Fluency in written and spoken English and one regional language; Additional Asian languages would be a large asset
• Good IT skills e.g. Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel, Word, Outlook. Skills in Photoshop or other image editing software would be a plus
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, strong willingness to learn
• High accuracy and ability to think strategically
• Experience working in multinational environment and good interpersonal skills
