Monthly Salary Range:

HK$28,970 – HK$46,190 (for IT Officer)

HK$18,945 – HK$31,930 (for Assistant IT Officer)

Duties: The appointee will be involved in managing and developing the Virtual Reality course materials for the School. His/Her major duty will be to facilitate the development of Virtual Reality project, and to work closely with internal and external collaborators to complete the project.  He/she will also provide technical support including content set-up, system integration, and maintenance and testing of Virtual Reality course content, as well as other duties as assigned.

Requirements: Candidates should possess a Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Design/Digital Media or related disciplines plus 4 years relevant working experience.  They should possess strong technical development skills in e-learning design and development.  Knowledge and experience with VR development and 3D graphic applications is necessary.  Solid experience in building software with Unity is preferred. Experience in Moodle platform development, 3D modeling, photo/video production, lighting and scene assembly will be a definite advantage.  They should also be independent, a good team player and able to work under pressure.  Strong analytical skills, excellent interpersonal skills, strong sense of responsibility and good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese are required.

Candidates with less qualification and experience will be considered as Assistant IT Officer.

Terms of Appointment: Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  The contract will normally be for 2 years with the possibility of renewal subject to review.  A contract-end gratuity (taxable) will be payable upon satisfactory completion of the contract.  Medical and dental benefits, annual leave and the use of sports and library facilities will be provided where applicable.  The School provides excellent staff development opportunities.
