Job Description
Major Responsibilities:
Assist the Deputy Executive Director (Business Development & Communications) –
- to formulate and implement marketing and communication strategies through different channels including social media;
- to plan and organise promotional campaigns, large-scale corporate events, public relations and media activities;
- to prepare corporate communications materials, publications, newsletters, speeches, articles, videos and APIs;
- to manage award schemes, partnership programmes, and services and activities for employer organisations, SMEs, trade associations and professional bodies;
- to develop district networks and organise district promotional activities; and
- to draft papers and reports for the consideration of the Board and its Committees.
Entry Requirements:
- A recognised university degree with a minimum of 15 years' post-degree working experience, of which at least 5 years should be at senior managerial level;
- solid management experience in corporate communications, marketing, public relations, media relations, partnership programmes or related disciplines;
- good understanding of brand management, design and production, advertising and social media, event management and alliance development;
- experience of working in both the public and private sectors would be an advantage;
- good interpersonal, organisational and leadership skills;
- possess broad outlook and highly motivated, proactive, dynamic, creative, result-oriented and able to work under pressure; and
- good command of written and spoken English and Chinese with excellent copywriting and presentation skills.
