Job Description

Key Responsibilities

 

  •    Manage and grow profitable business with both controlled and non-controlled customers on a multiple trades with a primary focus on exports from Asia to Europe and/or North America.
  •    Identify value for our customers by bringing a consultant mind-set to every sales call so that we can create “stickiness” and “win where we target.”
  •    Working in a specific industry vertical will require the KCM to identify and develop new customers within that vertical
  •    Act as the focal client sales contact, identify clients’ business strategies and objectives, logistics and transportation needs and buying criteria to develop and articulate value-based solutions to address their needs and wants.
  •    Develop deep and senior relationships with assigned clients and take every opportunity to probe for business opportunities. Utilise the senior-client contact relationship to open doors and support the account-development process.
  •    Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide first-class service to further increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  •    Take full end to end responsibility of annual contracting process for assigned CIF customers.
  •    Track and analyse market development.
  •    Study and leverage internal and external financial data to build winning strategies.
  •    Communicate closely and proactively with management, provide strong support to all development initiatives, policies, processes and guidelines.
  •    Maintain Sales Minimum Standards: 10 Sales Calls per week with 60% being Face to Face Sales Calls with an Objective, Agenda, PSM, and Confirmation Email for each.

Prerequisites:

 

  •    Fluent spoken and written English, additionally fluent Cantonese and Mandarin is preferred.
  •    Minimum 3 years’ proven track record in shipping/logistics sales.
  •    Highly analytical with proven negotiation skills.
