Job Responsibilities:

• Support Equities Business as the key interface between the Business and support functions including Finance, Operations Risk, Compliance & Internal Audit, etc.;
• Work closely with front office and middle office functions to ensure trading practices, operational flows and controls are consistent with best practice and in compliance of relevant regulations;
• Deal with ad hoc problem solving & issue resolution as and when they arise. Work with front office and services/ support functions to resolve front-to-back operational issues;
• Keeping abreast of market announcements (regulatory, operational, tax changes, etc.) and make front office aware of relevant announcements affecting their businesses;
• Provide effective MIS for the management of the business;
  Change Management
• Provide day-to-day business supports for new business initiatives. In particular, ensuring that front-to-back business requirements are identified, issues resolved, and the solutions implemented effectively;
• Manage a portfolio of Business projects and support the divisional restructuring initiatives;
  New Business Initiatives
• Assist and co-ordinate the preparation of new business presentations/ proposals and operational risk assessment;
• Assist the Management Team in the implementation of the business strategy.

Job Requirements:

• University Degree or above in in Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Business, or Finance, with strong technical background (Advanced Degree is preferable);
• 8 years relevant working experience;
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and under pressure;
• Good writing skill and highly analytical,
• Proficiency in VBA and financial/risk modelling,
• Proficiency in advanced Powerpoint & Excel and Chinese word processing.
