Mission: The strategy intern contributes to building a world class strategy team by working on one or more of the following missions:

Responsibilities

• Actively contribute to research incl. preparing presentations on strategic topics: specific industry and market analysis, trends, value chain analysis, growth opportunities identification etc.
• Analyse market landscape, profile, and monitor selected players on company’s targeted markets: perform competition analysis to understand strategies, business segments, investments and future course of action.
• Help organize, structure, and follow-up the pipeline of acquisition targets for one of the company’s businesses.
• Participate in Business planning process for specific geographies.
• Develop & update Strategy tools, processes, and methodologies.

Requirements

• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Masters in Management, MBA preferred
• Strong analytical & problem solving skills; ability to screen for information from multiple sources and evaluate companies’ profiles based on the limited amount of data.
• Fast learning capacity; ability to quickly absorb information on various topics and synthesize it to make meaningful conclusions.
• Market sizing skills; basic finance literacy; structured thinking.
• Communication skills, open-mindedness, ability to communicate with counterparts from different parts of organization.
• Ability to work under time pressure.
• Good MS PowerPoint skills; report writing skills, ability to build models in MS Excel.

Duration: 6 months
