Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identify opportunities for the development of new products and design improvements for existing products.
• Work closely with sales and marketing team to develop leads and projects, and communicate research initiatives.
• Design qualitative and quantitative research plans for products in all stages of the Product Life Cycle.
• Other duties could include competitive benchmarking, product costing, patent research, discovery and product performance testing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical, Chemistry, Biology, Food science or related discipline.
• 2 years or above working experience in the Herbal Raw Ingredients, Pharmaceutical, Dietary supplement, Healthcare or Cosmetics companies with market insight is strongly preferred
• Knowledge of Pharmaceutical regulatory requirements, GMP, ISO, HACCP and formulation development is an advantage

Personal attributes:

• Fluency in English, Cantonese and Putonghua
• Excellent English and Chinese writing skills
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
• High level of computer proficiency
• Able to work independently with initiative and as a good team player
• Good organization and interpersonal skills with a strong sense of responsibility
• Travelling may be required
