Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Report to the General Manager and the Board of Directors;
  • To ensure the company secretarial practices of the Club are conducted in compliance with the statutory and regulatory requirements;
  • To ensure the Club complies with relevant legislation and regulation;
  • Maintain and handle full set of company statutory record;
  • Organise board, board committee meetings on a regular basis;
  • Assist with planning and organising the general / special meetings that may be held; 
  • Prepare documents such as minutes, statutory returns and filings, board and resolutions, exchange of directors, etc.
  • Discreet handling of confidential information;
  • Advise, assist and maintain good corporate governance practices;
  • Supervise the operation of the Admin office and assist in responding to members’ enquiries, verbally and in writing;
  • Handle day-to-day office administration tasks as well as other ad-hoc and/or tasks as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree holder of Business Administration or related disciplines;
  • Associate member of HKICS is preferred but not essential;
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant hands-on working experience, with at least 2 years in supervisory level;
  • Proficient in the HK Companies Ordinance & other statutory compliances and regulations is an advantage;
  • Team worker, self-motivated, independent committed, outspoken, energetic, able to work under pressure within tight schedule and with flexibility of adapting in a fast-paced environment;
  • Proactive, result focus with strong analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills;
  • Mature and able to work independently;
  • Respond in a timely manner to members’ reactions whenever required;
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and Chinese Word Processing;
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Cantonese, fluency in Putonghua is definitely an advantage;
  • Immediately available is highly preferred
