This position reports to the System Analyst, and work closely with other team-mates, as
well as 3rd party development consultants.
The Technology Department manages the technology and computer infrastructure
that drives the corporate business systems. The systems support the head office and
other regional offices.
The role of Web App Developer requires strong technical skills on developing,
reviewing, and modifying systems including coding, debugging, testing, installation
and deployment, user training and technical support to users.
The incumbent will be a part of a creative team that is responsible for all aspects of the
ongoing software development from the initial specification, through to developing,
testing and launching.

Job duties:
• Design and implement software components according to the specifications with
emphasis on quality, supportability, maintainability, scalability and performance.
• Participate in requirements gathering sessions and other internal/external meetings
as part of the SDLC.
• Write clean and well designed code, and produce detailed specifications.
• Contribute in all phases of the development life cycle and follow industry best
practices.
• Develop unit test cases and perform comprehensive unit testing.
• Maintain, support system implementations and assist for quality assurance.
• Liaise with internal and external parties for application development, maintenance
and support.
• Provides technical recommendations on development approach.
• Prepare documentation, such as requirement specification, design specification,
user procedure, operations manuals and testing plan.
• Conduct user training and general application and technical support.

Qualifications and background:
• Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information System,
Engineering or related disciplines.
• At least 2 years experience in software development with hands-on technical roles.
• Possesses knowledge of data processing, Application Design, Database Design, UX
and Open Source Platforms.
• Fast learner and team player with strong problem solving, organizational and
communication abilities.
• Strong sense of responsibility and able to work independently.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Fresh Graduate will be consider as Programmer

Skills:
• Proven software development experiences in PHP, SQL, PHP Frameworks.
• Understanding of open source projects like Joomla, Drupal, Laravel, ThinkPHP etc.
• Hands-on Linux (Debian/CentOS) admin and operation experience.
• Demonstrate knowledge of web technologies including Javascript, Ajax, CSS and
HTML5, JSON etc.
• Experience in Database Analysis and Design with MYSQL/Oracle/MS SQL.
• Experience on WeChat OA and/or WeChat Payment related experiences
preferable.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills are absolutely essential.
• Proficiency in basic Linux Server administration, Windows PC and Server
administration, systems networking, database administration, web development
and user training and support.
• Experience in Quality Assurance is an advantage.
• Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in spoken Cantonese, functional read and written English.
