My client is a U.S. based investment firm. To support its rapid business expansion in Asia, they are looking to hire Desktop Support Engineer and Trading Floor Support in Hong Kong

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Desktop support in a fast-paced environment
• “White Glove” customer service working with all users including executive leadership
• Move-Add-Change for new users and visitors
• Strong familiarity with market data vendors like Bloomberg/Thomson/Factset 
• MS Office suite and Windows 7 operating system
• MS Active Directory, group policies and DFS
• Basic network troubleshooting (IP, DHCP, DNS, etc..)
• Remote access setup (VPN/VDI/two-form authentication)
• Citrix Receiver setup and troubleshooting
• McAfee AV and endpoint security
• Windows updates (WSUS)
• Handheld support – Blackberry / IPhone / IPad / Droid (Mobile Iron and BES)
• IPC Turret and Cisco phone setups

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ year desktop support experience, exposure to a Trading Floor technical environment is a plus
• Proficient in supporting Windows operating systems (Win 7, Win 2003 servers and Active Directory)
• Proficient in supporting the Microsoft Office, Outlook / Lotus Notes and instant messaging (RM, Sametime, Lync)
• Practical experience in supporting Market Data applications (Thomson Reuters Eikon, Bloomberg, Dealing 3000, AFE, Infocast, Factset)
• Basic networking skills to include TCP/IP, DNS, WINS and DHCP with exposure to desktop network connectivity diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Experience with industrial Desktop build and software deployment tools (SCCM) and technical problem solving / troubleshooting
• Good communication skills in written and spoken English
