Job Responsibilities:

• Perform daily risk report generation and limit monitoring;
• Conduct risk control analysis for trading book position and follow up limit excess;
• Verify and validate the mark-to-market valuation process and market risk measures calculation;
• Ensure risk monitoring operation is in compliance with all the control frameworks, guidelines, policies and regulation requirements;
• Participate in risk engagement projects and streamline daily workflow process;
• Coordinate with middle and back offices to identify potential risks and establish efficient risk measurement and control mechanism;
• Produce statistics, financial and analysis reports for management;
• Support risk systems and infrastructure enhancement and implementation
• Prepare and review procedures for market risk management, and support the enhancement for market risk policy.

Job Requirements:

• University graduate with major in Finance, Information Systems, Engineering or related disciplines, with professional qualification such as CFA and FRM is preferred;
• 1-4 years of relevant market risk or product control work experience;
• Experience in system implementation, project management or business/operation transformation would be an advantage;
• Knowledge of financial markets, risk methodologies, pricing models and VaR calculations;
• Excellent Excel and VBA skills;
• Analytical minded, attention to details and good interpersonal skills;
• Good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
