CallisonRTKL seeks an Urban Designer to join its Commercial Practice Group located in Hong Kong

Responsibilities

• Works closely with senior staff supporting design and technical tasks
• Assists with construction document preparation
• Revises drawings  and renderings
• Conducts research for the project team
• Produces graphic presentations and builds study models
• Performs calculations and basic analytical tasks
• Organizes files, materials, and displays
• Provides technical guidance to junior staff

Requirement

• Bachelors or Masters in Architecture, Urban Design or Urban Planning
• 4-8 years of Planning, Architecture or related experience
• Experience in large-scale, master-planning design
• Ability to prioritize and concurrently service multiple projects
• Maintains effective communication with project team members
• Possesses excellent collaboration skills
• Excellent free-hand graphic presentation skills
• Interacts well with other disciplines and clients in a manner that builds productive relationships
• Knowledge of Chinese policy and planning/design regulations preferred
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop and InDesign
• Mandarin-English skills required
• LEED accreditation preferred
• Hong Kong permanent resident preferred
