We are looking for an energetic and innovative professional to join the Lighting Projects Branch of CLP Engineering Limited. Reporting to the Project Manager, the appointee will be responsible for the following duties:

• Prepare technical submissions, tender documents, method statements for the installation and commissioning of Lighting and associated E&M system
• Conduct design in various lighting systems including Tunnel Lighting, Highmast Lighting, Road Lighting and Apron Lighting, etc
• Liaise with contractors/suppliers on the tendering, contracts administration, variations vetting and payments, as well as claims and disputes negotiation and resolution
• Carry out on site supervision and co-ordination with various parties/authorities, establish work programme and monitor site progress to ensure the programme schedule and all contract requirements are achieved
• Implement Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) Systems and ensure that all standards and requirements are fulfilled
• Supervise and monitor the performance of suppliers and subcontractors
• Perform emergency call-out duties outside normal scheduled working hours as and when required

 Requirements:

• A recognized University degree in Electrical Engineering discipline plus at least 3 years’ relevant working experience
• Possession of EMSD REW Registration Grade B0
• Possession of Construction Worker Registration Card and Construction Industry Safety Card
• Knowledge in Lighting Projects is preferable
• Candidate with a valid driving license (1 or 2) is preferable
• Good interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
• Customer-oriented, self-motivated, a good team player and able to work under pressure
• Candidates with less experience may be considered as Project Engineer
