The Lead Production Engineer (Senior Manager Level) will drive best practices across the global Product Safety & Quality Assurance (PSQA) organization to ensure Target teams and processes add value across product categories (Apparel / Accessories / Home and Hardline). This role will collaborate with field technical experts to identify and drive quality and production improvement projects across multiple countries.

Responsibilities

• Determine best practice opportunities, identify the specific best practice, package the best practice, drive the best practice through the organization
• With the Target PSQA Team identify, evaluate and calibrate the meaningful skill set
• Define and identify the Manufacturing Excellence opportunity within the Supply Chain at Target
• Identify, create, monitor and communicate Target Manufacturing Excellence metrics
• Develop the skill set in the Production Engineer Team through collaboration with the Field Team leads

Requirements

• 10 + years of relevant experience executing quality management and process improvement projects
• Demonstrated success in formulating and driving supply chain initiatives across organizations and countries
• Technical depth in one of the Relevant Product Categories
• Experience of working in a similar role in Quality/Production/Management in a manufacturing environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated success in introducing and executing new strategies and ways of doing business and increased organizational effectiveness.
