Responsibilities:

• Research & develop new Trims, Labelling & Packaging trend, liaise with designers for material presentations seasonally
• Monitor the Trims sourcing, developments & samples submission/approvals, to ensure comply with Global Calendar
• Accurate material data management, thru PLM, SAP & MS Office
• Liaise with Designers, suppliers & vendors on product workability, price negotiation, capacity planning, lead time control, problem solving, plus risk & quality evaluation
• Work with Vendor Management & Material Management divisions to fulfill the time-line on SMS & mass production
• Execute department strategies & assist manager to bring up the department functions throughout the Group
• Monitor supplier’s lab testing reports & product integrity
• Guide & provide solutions to suppliers, keep aligning them to achieve global standards

Requirements:

• Degree preferred with 5 years’ in Trims, Labeling & Packaging or Textile / Apparel field
• Understanding of manufacturing process, price level, global quality standard and familiar in both development & production
• Good liaison & negotiation skills with Mainland China and Overseas vendors.
• Good command of spoken and written English, Chinese and Putonghua
• Traveling is required, majority mainland China
• With PLM & SAP experience will be an advantage
