World Wide Food Distribution Limited is a Frozen Food Trading company based in Hong Kong specialized in frozen meat such as Pork, Beef, Poultry and Seafood.

This “business-to-business” purchaser and logistics professional should be able to prospect target supplier for new Business, maintain an existing territory of business as well as establish and work with partners.

Purchasing and logistic officer must be comfortable buying Frozen Meat / Poultry / Seafood and Logistics services.

Job Description

• Negotiate international transport price with selected freight company
• Issue report on logistic activity
• Purchase meat / beef / poultry in Spain and south America
• Back up on the purchase from France
• Negotiate prices and payment terms with supplier
• Issue Purchase orders to suppliers and organize the logistics for container shipment
• Ensure items are delivered in time and to the place required with appropriate documentation.
• Manage supplier relationship through all phases of the purchasing cycle
• Responsible for tracking supplier information, forecasts and reports
• Develop and maintain potential and existing supplier list based on strategic marketing data and other
• Issue purchasing market report

Requirement

• Associate degree or above, with major in business / Logistics / Purchasing / related discipline preferable;
• Experience in the logistics, purchasing, working overseas experience preferred
• Mature, high level of integrity, well-organized
• At least 3 year experience in similar position;
• Responsible and able to work under pressure.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Feeling comfortable working in an international environment mainly French speaking
• Self-motivated; responsible; attentive to details; independent; excellent time management, prioritization, negotiation, and influencing skills
• Fluent in English and Spanish (French is a must), and knowledge of the logistics and meat business
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Chinese word processing
• Pleasant and cheerful.
