Job Description

To cope with recent business development, we are looking for a full-time Graphic Designer to join our growing Marketing Team at ZOTAC (www.zotac.com) The ideal candidate is passionate about design, but realistic about meeting deadlines. Daily projects will focus around digital design (landing pages, email, banners, ecommerce content), print design and brand identity related campaigns; both editing existing assets and creating new ones from scratch. This role will report to the Marketing Director while working closely with Creative Director and other internal teams.

The Job

  • Execute a wide variety of high quality designs in both digital and print to support various marketing initiatives and campaigns in a timely manner
  • Follow and maintain brand identity characteristics, typography, photography, color etc. in all assets, evolving when necessary
  • Contribute to various stages of design projects from concept through implementation and create production-ready artwork
  • Collaborate with members of the marketing team (copywriters, fellow designers, branding and channel marketing managers) to create engaging works that drives the marketing strategy.
  • Moving from conceptual work to production work seamlessly (ie. designs that are conceptual in nature to detailed works like production-ready flyers)
  • Keep projects on track by meeting incremental milestones within budgetary and technical constraints in a timely manner
  • Maintain good and effective organization in your artwork layers for better collaboration (sharing) of artwork files among fellow designers
  • Stay current with necessary programs, software and processes
  • Stay curious about what makes for excellent design communications and best practices in the current design landscape

The Candidate

  • Assicoate degree holder or above in Graphic Design or equivalent, 2- 3 years of design experience
  • Working knowledge of production for both digital and print
  • A solid working knowledge in the latest Creative Suite software (particularly Illustrator and Photoshop)
  • Experience with re-touching images and editing/creating vector graphics
  • A good understanding of responsive design for web and familiar with html and web skills is an advantage
  • A keen eye for executing highly effective work in both digital and print
  • Strong typographic sensibilities and a great taste in design aesthetics
  • An outstanding work ethic, known for a resourceful approach to work and design
  • Excellent planning, organization, and communications skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated prowess in being able to prioritize and handle multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Understands lead times, and executes projects on deadline
  • And lastly, the ability to smile in the face of tight deadlines
