ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the Quality Assurance Managers/teams in China and other Asia regions to achieve quality standards and procedures for products being produced throughout Asia;
• Stays abreast of production status as well as QA inspection results (along with QA Managers/Inspectors).  Audit inspections of components prior to production;
• Make suggestions to QA in field for factories to improve their manufacturing process and QA staff in how to address problems that could arise;
• Set guidelines in conducting factory audits to determine if a potential manufacturer has the ability to produce products that will meet Company standards;
• Assist in developing all the quality assurance strategic advice from the development stage through to bulk production, by partnering with the Technical Team  and Merchandising Teams, and the suppliers/vendors in the Asia Pacific region;  
• Identify product integrity/assurance strategies, aligning raw material, finished products, testing requirements, quality control management, and vendor capabilities, to ensure quality standards are defined, clearly understood, and maintained at all suppliers.

REQUIREMENTS : 

• Tertiary educated in textile, clothing or relevant disciplines;
• 15 years’ experience in quality control of garment, shoes, and fashion accessories with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity in multinational buying office or agent;
• Experience in manufacturing environment is an added advantage;
• Proven leadership and managerial skills with strong interpersonal and communication ability to lead the QA teams in China and other Asia regions;
• Good command of spoken English & Mandarin;
• Willing to travel
• Candidates with less experience can be considered as Quality Assurance Manager
