Vice President - Shanghai

 My client is a global boutique Integrated Communications agency, with clients across technology, corporate and healthcare sectors. They are looking for a senior PR professional to lead their Shanghai office and manage a profitable portfolio of both retained and project work. In this role you will be responsible for staff management and leadership, strategic client development and new business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Delivers across a range of campaigns and marketing disciplines and provides clients with high level insight placed in the context of their business and the industries in which they operate
• Manage relationships with key, senior level media/influencers
• Manage, influence and negotiate scope of work with clients. Oversees strategy, planning and budget setting processes.
• Partner with clients to establish the strategic direction for integrated communications engagements
• Lead preparation and delivery of organic growth or new business proposal content and in-person pitch meetings
• Demonstrates clear leadership qualities including the ability to motivate, inspire, delegate, empower and develop relationships with team members

Requirements

• At least 10yrs PR/Communications agency experience with a network of contacts across Technology, Corporate or Healthcare areas in China.
• Open to both Native English or native Chinese candidates but fluency in English is essential.
• Experience of working with clients across Technology, Corporate or Healthcare industries and be able to leverage off those relationships
• At least 6-7 years of staff management responsibility and experience of leading a successful and profitable team
• Commercially minded and able to identify new business opportunities for the agency, growing the client base in Shanghai.
• Must be self motivated, driven, hard working and ambitious
